Chris is in his 15th season as the head coach at Warrensburg High School in Warrensburg, MO, and his 27th season overall as a basketball coach (24 yrs. as a head coach). Chris earned his B.A. in History from Quincy University and his Master’s Degree from the University of Central Missouri. In addition to his duties as basketball coach, he also teaches social studies and is the head girl’s golf coach at Warrensburg H.S. Coach Nimmo has been active with the Missouri Basketball Coaches Association since 1993 and currently serves as the President. He also serves as liaison for the MBCA to the NHSBCA and well as associate coordinator for the MBCA’s annual coaching clinic and is the director of the Midwest Regional Shootout (6 state event during the June Recruiting Event.) He has actively helped with the MO Challenge, the MBCA all-star series for the past eight years and has helped select the all-state teams for the last 14 years. Chris was appointed as an Ad Hoc executive member of the National High School Basketball Coaches Association in July of 2014 in July of 2014. From 2018-20, Chris served as president of the NHSBCA and currently served at past-president. Chris is married to his wife, Kelly and they have two sons, Jackson and Nick and a daughter, Reece.
