Chris Nimmo will be entering his 15th season as the head coach at Warrensburg High School and 27th season overall as a basketball coach and educator. At Warrensburg he teaches social studies, serves as the A+ Coordinator, a program that helps students receive tuition reimbursement to community and technical colleges within the state of Missouri, and as the girls golf coach. Chris earned his B.A. in History Education from Quincy University and his Master’s Degree in Secondary School Administration from the University of Central Missouri. Chris is currently the president of the National High School Basketball Coaches Association. He has been a board member with the Missouri Basketball Coaches Association for the past 7 years and currently serves as president-elect. With the MBCA, he is also the associate director of the very successful coaching clinic that attracts nearly a thousand coaches annually. He has also coached in and helped organize the Missouri Challenge (the MBCA All-Star Event) for several years. He is also the lead organizer of the Midwest Regional Basketball Showcase for the new June Division 1 Recruiting Period, involving the states of Missouri, Iowa, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Nebraska. Chris lives in Warrensburg, MO with his wife (Kelly), daughter (Reece) and sons (Jackson and Nick).
